Highlights

Bhujung residents are warm, friendly, caring, hardworking, and united. Their dwellings are close, but their love and respect for each other is even closer. They collaborate and share their joys and sorrows. They do not work for money in the fields. They trade work for work (known as "Parma"). It works like this: If 25 people come to assist me with rice harvesting, rice planting, or any other task, I get paid. Then I'll have to travel to the homes of those 25 people and assist them with comparable tasks.

Package Discription

If you want to get a true experience of a normal Nepali village with a house stay and a short trek with the people you love to travel with, Ghale Gaun and Bhujung village can be the perfect option for you. To explore these two magnificent Gurung villages, you'll need three nights and four days.

The Gurungs live with other ethnic groups in the central hills and valleys along the southern slope of the Annapurna Himalaya in mid-western Nepal. They have a diverse culture and heritage. They are part of the Gorkha regiment of the British and Indian armies, as well as the Royal Nepalese Army and police.
